Most players agree that Necron Dynasties was the best of the Warhammer 40k Commander precons. While there isn’t one massive standout card, the whole deck just works so well together. The new Chavalry Charge precon is about the best I've seen in terms of straight out of the box, its got all the removal, draw, ramp you need, it's focused unlike a lot of precons that try to split the focus between the box commander and the commanders in the 99. The 40k precons are honestly the best precons I've played with. Their design is fantastic, they're a ton of fun, and they have a very respectable power level right out of the box. The only negative being the secondary market is heavily marking these decks up. My local LGS sells these for $80, which is too much for a single precon magic deck, in my opinion. Managed to pre order a case of all four decks for $220 from my LGS. Seems like $70-80 for each isn’t uncommon now which is crazy.
