From what i have found in the parts book is i need part number TA040-500 (early serial number) and that number subs to TA040-61507. I just want to verify this before i order the wrong one.

Although this OTT thread I will link you to is a GR2120, it also has glide steer and found broken steering rod holder bracket causing their (post 9 and 10) steering problem.
