Zavia deals more damage per poison than the rest (elenaril, karam, etc.) who all do the same damage. If I recall, Zavia also attacks so can weak hit. You want the poisons to expire like normal instead of blowing them up. I believe it was an issue because the poison damage is capped so you're losing damage in the long run.
