Starting my second NG playthrough and looking to try out the Blasphemous Blade. I did a bit of research and I've seen some conflicting answers regarding stat distribution. Some people are saying to level strength and faith to their softcaps of 55 and 50 respectively and others say to leave dex and strength at weapon requirements and max out faith.

When I go to strength, which is at 26, if I put more points in strength my attack rating will not raise with either sword. I understand C scaling is not the best but I should still be getting minimal gains. Adding strength does infact add attack rating to my bow which is D scaling.
