18 posts · Joined 2017. #1 · Nov 13, 2019. I've got a 2017 Charger with a factory remote start. So, I have 2 key fobs. One is the primary and the second is a back up. Neither fob works for the remote start, nor do they unlock or lock my car. I noticed this about a month or so ago. I doubt both batteries are bad, but I guess it is possible.

Went out and looked at the display and it said remote start disabled.When I go to reset/replace the RF hub, the VIN is successfully written to the new RF Hub but then a number of errors pop up and the procedure fails. The new RF Hub recognizes the FOBIKs and I can start and drive the car, but remote start does not work. I had inconsistent remote starts and my radar detector (puts out battery voltage whenever on) would bounce from 14V down to 12.8 or so at different times while driving.
