The lower part of Roaring River is spring fed and managed as a trout park by the Missouri Department of Conservation. This means that during trout season anglers must pay $3 for a daily tag and they can keep five rainbows. The float fishing on the Roaring Fork really gets going in late February or early March and runs through spring for several weeks, usually until late April or early May.
