Ark survival ascended tether distance fix.

Just most people today wouldn't notice it because most people's PCs are more than able to handle ARK SE with Tether Distance set to say 99 without too many issues. The Host's Computer has to keep track of everything the "OTHER" Players are encountering rather than those objects going into a deep sleep like they do on normal singleplayer.In that case you may want to consider disclosing that information on how to set up. a lot of people are pissed off at this "non-dedicated Tether" crap. Difficulty, harvest rate, etc., there is an option for Tether Distance at the very bottom. You can set it up to 3 on the slider which is about 650 meters. But you can set the number itself to anything. I set mine at 30 which is the entire length of the map. The tether is now set at 5 or 9, but somehow we can still separate and glide all over the map without triggering this minimal tether, so long as we don't change zones. Damn I thought I heard somewhere that they got rid of the tether. That's lame. There wasn't any thether distance on evolved just ~2000m from the host as soon there were 3+ players in the server. There's a setting for it under Game Rules->Rules. Slider goes up to 3, but allows you to type a higher number in.

On PC the tether has a slider, the default is 1.0 which is about 200m which is awful, and the slider goes up to 3.0, which is about 700m which is usually alright but if the host dies everyone ends up being teleported to them which can really suck. You can also go higher by entering a number in the field beside the slider.
