Was playing Slow and Steady for this week's Weekly Challenge with some friends of mine. I was so amused by the ghost's speed that I tempted fate by staying close to Moroi during a hunt. Hubris got the best of me as I backed into a log and the ghost got me. The one in tanglewood was easy.
This challenge exists because the ghosts in phasmophobia are so diverse that you can identify them without the need of any evidence other than their behaviour in the current state of the game, with only some awkward exceptions. If these exceptions are somewhat corrected, the challenge would instantly become awesome. I recommend hiding as soon as you go in, to listen to the ghost speed. Even if you die you can still mark the ghost type during the death animation. Also take the crucifixes with you, if you have even the slightest idea where the ghost is spawning, leave them there (if you hold the place button on the ground you can see the cruxifix radius, and ... Observe The Ghost Carefully. Phasmophobia's weekly challenges task players with completing a unique task each week. Some limit players' tools, while others might limit visibility - this week's challenge, the Glow in the Dark challenge, is a mix of both.
