I've tried it on my regular polish and while I can get it to kinda shine, when I topcoat it, it does some odd things.Specifically with the nails, I looked at Reddit Laqueristas in the mornings to encourage myself. I also used nail strengthening polish, and painted my nails with coloured polish frequently to discourage chewing. I found that covering up the stubby bitten bits with colour stopped me from focusing on their irregularity and biting more.
