You can walk around and just look at building that way, I found a lot of beautiful things by wandering. There is also a free DASH bus with three routes, one stopping in the Lockwood area. Look at a map to see the area. Spring and President is not safe to be walking along; you're probably OK inside a locked house. Spring and King would be worse. I don't know how guests access the Hyatt property there at the corner when the police are limiting traffic routes.
