Install the rear sight as far back on the rib while still having even pressure on the rear mount plate. Use good locktite on the 4 rear base screws. The rear is adjustable up/down via one screw that with tension screws in or out to raise/lower rear sight. The A400 seems like it's one of the best options, but I don't want to spend $2k. In fact, I would like to be under $1000. So with that said, I think I've narrowed it down to the Winchester SX4, Mossberg 940 Pro, or Beretta A300 Ultima. The internet tells me the SX4 doesn't come with shims and the A300 has trigger reset issues.The Mossberg 930 JM Pro has been fix by TheReloaderDude. Cycle Problem have been fixed
The comp pro is hard to find right now but is $1400-1500. Either one is going to be a much better choice than the mossberg. The 1301 is a very reliable gun, the 930 has not proven to be and the 940 is to new to have much of a track record so I'd go with the 1301. I've run a 1301 comp for years.

The 1301 shoots slightly softer being a gas gun. The Versamax's need a bunch of work to make them run like a Benelli. Same with the Mossburg. I just had to file the swivel down a bit so it would fit. It works wonderfully without adding barrel clamps that add time to cleaning or sling plates that create gaps and always seem to cause feeding problems. If you do get a clamp; I like CDM the best.
