RC shocks are misleading in their name (number), the 2.0 shocks are the more rugged and higher rated for off road use while the 2.2 shocks are a little softer for more street use, they usually include the 2.2 with the lift kits and you have to call and ask them to substitute 2.0 shocks instead.Shocks are the same regardless of the towing package. Pretty much any aftermarket rear shock will fix your issue. I have Fox 2.0's on mine and it drastically improved the ride. I would replace the springs and shocks as a pair. A set of Mopar 2" springs can be had for under $200. That would be about the same amount of lift. That and a set of Rancho 5000 series shocks would likely ride much better. If you want, you can upgrade to the 9000 series Rancho shocks and get adjust-ability.
