Alchemy Basics. Alchemy is a Shaman Only tradeskill that can almost entirely be done by buying items from Merchants in the Plane of Knowledge. The only farmed ingredient needed for the final push to skill 300, is the Nodding Blue Lilly. We suggest you start collecting these early on, as you will need a lot of them.
