ThumperTalk. Register a new account. I just bought a 2006 king quad 700 efi. I got a great deal on it and knew it wasn't running when I purchased it.I am having problems troubleshooting it. It will start up about 50% of the time and idles fine when it does start. However, you start to give it any gas and it dies.

It looks like it might have been coming from a hose attached to the rear of the frame at seat level. For the engine oil, use a “motorcycle oil” that is JASO-MA approved on the back of the bottle with a viscosity of 10w40. I’ve always used Suzuki fluids. Though that’s just my personal preference. You can use other brands of oils as long as they meet those requirements.
