There are three different types of exclusive Avatars and decorations available for a limited time: 1) Hero (two daily and a Featured) 2) Background. 3) Pin. Avatars that are exclusively gained in the game (such as from Challenge Events, Special Events and Missions) are not available to purchase. All avatars available in the Avatar Shop are new.
