NCLEX “Bad Pop-up”. Took the NCLEX exam today. Was extremely anxious throughout the entire day. Went the full 145 questions. Had some easy questions, then some hard questions, and then a mix of easy and hard questions towards the end…. By the time I got to my car, I received the email confirmation that I completed the exam.

I got all the questions and took my exam this morning as well. I have seen quite a few people on other subreddits say that the bad pop up isn't a 100% accurate so wait until you officially find out. I also received a bad pop up but that isn't an accurate indicator of failing the exam.

I did the pearsonvue trick 1 hour after my test and got the bad pop up. I checked the BRN site 48 hours later and found out that I passed. This also happened to my colleague. The bad pop up isn't accurate. I have class mates that got it and passed. Something probably happened during your exam submission or it just needs further review. One classmate got it after taking only 75 questions but passed. The good pop up is more accurate than than the bad, so just wait for your official results.

Two days ago, I took the next gen nclex and stopped at 85 question (new minimum, old one was 75 minimum). I did the PVT for 2 days and always got the good pop up consistently. The quick results are usually available 48 hours after the testing time, no matter the day of the week.
