His second engine he is around the 250,000 mile mark so far, he tows AirStream trailers all over the country for the factory.The current recall is only for Ram 1500's with the Ecodiesel. The Jeep GC Ecodiesels are not part of it. Same EGR cooler, same engine - does not make a lot of sense that they are not part of the recall. When i bought the eco diesel, they were still using the 5W-20. As soon as they went to the heavier oil, i changed over.I just think the newer generation of engine will have a better overall design. Check out 85 Plus or Diesel Fuel Catalyst they look like an all in one, both have winter formulas because of course diesel can gel up in winter if it's too cold.
