Snow Lake Gem Lake +Wright Mountain Start: 10:00 End: 17:30 - We go medium fast but were hindered by conditions (I was not expecting as much snow) Up to the saddle above Snow lake was snow free. Over the saddle towards the lake was 75% snow fields. Lots of little bridges and postholes peeking through over boulders and creeks.
The walk along Nada Lake is a break for your legs, then you climb again with the thunderous outlet from Snow Lake to distract you. It's amazing once you round a bend above those switchbacks and return to near perfect silence in the woods.
