I took the stock slip on muffler off and rode around for 1000 miles to make sure I wouldn’t have any issues running straight pipes until I can get a new exhaust. Well recently I welded on a 2” down turn on the stock piping where the muffler would slip on and changed my exhaust gaskets. The Yamaha V Star is an entry level motorcycle with a V-twin engine.
