Your suggestions of turning off group and SMS to send a BCC to multiple contacts is way too time consuming. It's APPLE. Surely, you can quickly figure out how to write the code & put in a quick update for iOS 9. Just add "bcc:" below the "to:" header. I'm not fully understanding why this isn't an option to date.
