I believe it's in the owner's manual, but I have a bookmark with the procedure. I'm guessing you can do it on your passenger side, too. The service manager took a moment and showed me how to fix it: From the passenger door, roll the window down, holding the passenger-side switch for an additional 3 seconds. It rolls down fine, but when truing to roll it up, it will roll up an inch and then stop. I then have to let off the window button and push it again, in which it only rolls up 1 inch.

Roll the window down from the passenger side with its button and hold it down once all the way down for 3 seconds or so. Next roll it back up and again hold it up for 3 seconds or so. This resets/programs the window then the driver side button should work.The old one stopped working intermittently on the driver's window. The problem got worse over time and then it stopped completely. After replacing the switch and reconnecting the battery, I did the reset trick on the rear and passenger windows and now they all work fine from the master.Ok try a capacitive discharge, make sure the key is off and disconnect both battery cables, then touch both cables together for about 10 seconds. Wow - my battery died and I had the same issue on my 2015 OB - the drivers side switch for the passenger window wasn't working.The solution to use the the passenger side switch to roll the window down halfway, then hold roll up for 5 seconds solution worked for me. I think I heard a click too.

My passenger window will not roll up on a Subaru outback 2016, neither passenger or the driver side control switch are not working. I tried to reset it and it’s still not working. I’m thinking my motor is blown. Or a fuse, but if a fuse is blown, wouldn’t that affect all my windows?
