Acura TL vs Infiniti G35. Well these are the two I narrowed it down to so I thought it was worth a discussion. Based upon the pricing I have seen so far to match what comes standard on the TL you would have to get a G35 Journey with premium package, which comes out to a little over 34k as opposed to 33,625 on the TL.

I admit to being nervous as they drove my 2007 TL type S Auto off to the back, wondering as it got further and further away if I'd made a BIG mistake.

Acura had an extended warranty for the fix; but, that expired years ago (replace the rings and cylinders for free). My current issue is the TL. It began burning oil, just out of the blue, about 6 weeks ago. If I got above about 2500RPM I could visibly see smoke in the rear view along with a whole lot of sooty buildup on the tailpipes. The early 2nd gen were good (2007-2009). I'd avoid the later years (2010-2013) as they burn oil. just remember at 105k the timing belt and water pump is due for replacement , that will probably be the biggest maintenance expense.
