Yes aathalia is a powerhouse as a standalone and is probably the best first awakened hero for a new player, but she definitely needs units to support her. Asafiya is in a similar spot as maetria in the sense that people think that maetria isn't good unless she's with 4 other hypogeans which is just wrong.
