Agreed, I took 101, 102, 103, and 104. I had a positive trend, studied my weaknesses, and hit my target score before taking the exam. Some questions were very similar or the same, but it was like they expanded on it. It was the same general content, with varying emphasis, but whereas comsae's were lean, comlex was fattened up to weigh you down.

So I don't think it helped that much to do the phase 2 exam as a gauge for level 3. 2.

The COMSAE were fairly accurate on average. Yes, they can fluctuate wildly, but if you took 3 or 4, your average was usually close to the real thing. I was able to purchase up to 3, with the school providing me one. Usually your school has multiple comsaes, you can ask if you can't purchase them anymore. 3.

Best bet is to just take another (any!) to familiarize yourself with comlex wording/style rather than a score. personally 109 was the closest for me, took it 3 weeks out and scored 20 points higher on the real thing. Jun 7, 2015. #3. I've taken COMSAE D and COMSAE A, I did well on both but the D was a little harder for sure, the A is outdated and a joke.
