SHUTTLE FAMILY: if the stage is shut down due to high winds and you are told to evacuate the venue do not leave the speedway and get on the shuttles. Just go to a different stage, hangout in a chill area or explore edc. If you get on the shuttles and they announce you can re-enter the speedway the shuttles will not turn around and drop you off.

I've driven every year. 2 hours is enough to be safe. I feel as if they are getting better about traffic to edc every year. They usually have multiple gates open to enter so don't necessarily target the first gate you see open If there's a long line of cars to get in.
