How to put xfinity router in bridge mode.
Now, since I can't actually do that (again, silly drop-down list), the recommendation from Google was that I should put my Comcast router's Wifi into Bridge mode. I've searched the web and haven't found what Comcast's "Bridge Mode" specifically does. Some folks say it allows the Wifi to work in a mesh-like configuration.
I'm guessing no problems with port fowarding on your own router if you just use it in bridge mode? Is it better to order online, or just call/visit the local service center and pick up a xFI modem?
