So, my plan is to go pick up my 1050, get the mods that make sense with the goal of helping this cooker last as long as possible (at least 3, hopefully 5+). Then, hopefully by then some of the other companies (grilla, yoder, recteq, etc.) have developed something that is significantly higher quality (at an expected higher cost).
I've got a couple for mine, my favorite being the top and middle cooking racks from lss-mods. I avoid smoking on the bottom grates whenever I can, so the racks add a ton of space away from the manifold cover. Greg Scott they have gone up $10 from when I first started making them. Stainless continues to go up and I now have gasket material included which I didn't originally.
