Polaris ranger ecm problems.

Replaced ECM on a 2006 Polaris ranger2-4. It been a great machine except for this problem. Because of some sort of internal relay that goes out the whole unit must be replaced!. It seems to me that if the stator was going bad or completely failed, you would have battery charge problems, as the stator (alternator) is what charges and maintains the charge of the battery along with the voltage regulator. IMO all of your wiring is good because when the ect sensor is unplugged the ecm commands the fan to a predetermined speed based on a faulty sensor.
