Drones can take amazing footage and capture the big picture stills or land video could never convey. I appreciate when rental owners and resorts include drone footage on their sites. Drones over public areas doing aerial photography don't bother me all that much, if they keep to respectful heights and distances.

Tortola vs. St. John, USVI. My husband and I are having a hard time deciding between staying on Tortola or St. John's ( USVI) for our vacation. We plan on spending about a week in May (to avoid hurricane season and hopefully some out-of-school crowds). Both islands look beautiful and I know the ferries can take us to both USVI and BVI.

Costa Rica is an amazing Country to visit. It is not, however known for either great beaches or great snorkeling. We love CR and find St John somewhat overhyped and overpriced but it does have amazing beaches and snorkeling not to mention food! 2.6 years ago. There may be jet ski rentals at the Westin on St John. You should check with them. Sapphire Marina probably has best, but not sure who has that business now. It may still be Dive In!
