Im assuming that the trigger wire for the cdi is going to be one of the 4 in the 4 pin connector coming out of the stator which plugs into the cdi as all the rest of the wires have been accounted for (as in the different connectors on the cdi) The most problems have been reported with Yamaha Moto 4 models manufactured between 1987 and 1995.
