Ziplines grounded.
My current plan is to build a main base on the wooden posts by the field station left of the oak tree. Anywhere central on the map is probably the best bet, but also having some smaller outposts in each of the harder areas isn't a bad idea. Personally, didn't start over, but the story did restart.

The speed depends entirely on the angle of the zip line. Traveling a flat or upward trajectory is a fixed speed with the zipr that is roughly 10cm/s.

My second tall tower is on top of the sandbox at the corner close to the house. I now have zip connected to bush where broadmother is, shelter porch, sandbox, porch table, one next to fallen grill, and on top on of the wood near termite. It is worth the grind and save much time versus running.
